Real Sydney bathrooms, regrouted without removing a single tile.

Sydney bathrooms work harder than most. The humid summers, salt air from the harbour and coast, and the sheer age of much of the city’s housing stock all conspire against grout and silicone. From Federation cottages in Glebe to art deco apartments in Bondi and post-war brick homes across the Inner West, every era brings its own bathroom headaches.
The Grout Guys have been restoring Sydney bathrooms for years. We cover the whole metropolitan area — from the Northern Beaches through to the Eastern Suburbs, the Hills District, the Inner West, the Sutherland Shire, and out to Penrith. Our work is straightforward: full tile regrouting and leaking shower repairs, with no need to tear out tiles or commit to a full renovation.
This matters in Sydney more than most places. Apartment living dominates here, and one leaking shower can damage three floors below in a hurry. Strata managers and unit owners across Mosman, Chatswood, Surry Hills, and Parramatta have called us in to stop small leaks before they became legal disputes. Sydney’s subtropical-influenced humidity makes the problem worse, particularly through the wet summer months.
We work in heritage homes. We work in high-rise apartments and renovated terraces. Every quote is free, every job carries a real warranty, and every team member treats your home with respect. Sydney homeowners know the cost of letting a small problem turn into a big one. If your grout is cracking, your shower is leaking, or your bathroom just looks tired, book your local Grout Guy in Sydney today and get the job done properly.

Most shower regrouting projects are completed within a single day, depending on the condition of the grout and whether any repairs are required. Your technician will inspect the shower first and confirm the process and timeframe before any work begins, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
In most cases, no. Our services are designed to fix grout and sealing issues without removing tiles or renovating your bathroom. If tile replacement is required, we’ll identify it during the inspection and explain your options upfront.
If a shower is actively leaking and causing damage, it’s best to limit use where possible. However, most leaks occur gradually, so the impact between quoting and repair is usually minimal. If you only have one shower, continued use is often manageable. Once regrouting has been completed, the shower will need 24 hours (or 72 hours if using epoxy) to cure before reuse.
No. Our teams work Monday to Friday. Most shower regrouts are finished in a single day, so a repair usually costs you one weekday rather than multiple days. If you cannot be home, we can work from a key, a lockbox or your building manager, so you do not have to take the day off to let us in.
